Our Animals

Come and meet our amazing collection of animals, from agouti to zebu and much more in between. With over 75 species of exotic and domestic mammals, birds, reptiles and bugs from around the world there is something to appeal to everyone. Don’t miss the daily keeper feeding and talks and learn something new about your favourite animal – you can even feed some of the larger animals. Take a few minutes to chat to the parrots – especially George, our Umbrella Cockatoo!

Exotic Creatures

In the Reptile Realm you can be amazed by Aja the 14ft (4.2m) reticulated python with her beautiful iridescent scales. Spot the tiny day geckos opposite, and other lizards including Karma, our chameleon, as he uses his rotating eyes to hunt for insects with his long sticky tongue. Don’t miss the Invertebrate Room next door and see if you can count all of our critically endangered stick insects.
